This post is about accessibility for our school districts website. My first scan was of ww2.bentonschools.org. Unfortunately, this site would not function correctly for the wave accessibility scan, and I had to pick another site. I scanned Bentonville schools and that one worked. I scanned a school website to coincide with my k12 track and interest. I was a little disappointed that I was unable to scan our district website. The new one launches on September 8th next week and I will try again. 

The one thing that really surprised me was the low AIM score.  2.4 out of 10 points for this site seems really low. I would think that Bentonville would have a much better score and be much more meticulous about their web presence. It could also be scoring low due to the high number of contrast errors. I do wonder if the district choice of logo color is causing some of these errors. It is also heavily saturated with images of students wearing various colored clothing.  So my question for this assignment would be how much color choice affects your accessibility of the site? What does a district do that has a low contrast color palette? These questions have become more important as I dive deeper into this topic.
